About the cover

Adaptations in body composition following spinal cord injury can influence the metabolic profile and lower energy expenditure in individuals with spinal cord injury. Research in this issue examines the accuracy of prediction equations to estimate resting energy expenditure in this population.

L’adaptation de la composition corporelle à la suite d’une lésion médullaire peut influer sur le profil métabolique et réduire la dépense énergétique chez les personnes vivant avec une lésion médullaire. La recherche présentée dans ce numéro examine la précision des équations de prévision utilisées pour estimer la dépense énergétique au repos de cette population.
